Leadership Opportunities at Imagine Children's Retreat

Leaders of this events seek to provide an inclusive space where children may have opportunities to wonder about and explore their faith through story, worship, music, activities and other creative ways that deepen our relationship with God.

Leaders support children in various ways - leading theme and worship and music, being cabin leaders, leading activity groups (crafts, hiking, board games, whatever you feel good sharing!), providing one on one care for children, and many other ways!

We want to ensure that all children are cared for and that our leadership team have a great experience - our ratio of children to leaders is at maximum 4:1 to help support this.  We could not do this event without the support of our volunteer leadership group! We are so pleased that you are interested in participating!  

All Leaders can expect: 

• to have fun! 
• to be provided transportation up to the retreat, all meals and accommodation during the retreat  
• support, care and gratitude for you and your amazing gifts of leadership!

In order for the weekend to run smoothly we need:

• all leaders to be at the  All Leaders' Meeting (which will be online, time and date announced soon!) The children's retreat is a very full and busy weekend.  It is ESSENTIAL that you be present for the meeting so that you have the necessary information and support in order to be fully present with the children at the camp.  
• the YOUTH TEAM will also have a day of leadership training and getting ready - the  date and time will be announced soon.
